Observation notes:

The session began in ordinary fashion with instrument setup completed before full darkness and the group returning to several familiar fields.

At 02:07 all members present observed a vast shape drifting silently across the sky.

The form was described independently by multiple observers as resembling a whale.

Its movement was slow and continuous, with no sound and no corresponding entry in the night's expected satellite or aircraft notes.

All members present confirmed the sighting.
