Location: Cévennes National Park, France
Session duration: 2 nights
Sky conditions: Moderate turbulence, seeing ~6/10
Instruments:
- 7×50 binoculars
- 250mm Dobsonian telescope
- 150mm Newtonian telescope
Targets:
- M57 (Ring Nebula)
- The Moon
- Betelgeuse
- Rigel
Observation notes:
Transparency improved after midnight and allowed longer visual work on faint deep-sky targets.
The larger telescope resolved dense clusters cleanly, while the refractor was used for wider fields and comparison views.
During the session, multiple clocks disagreed by several minutes without any clear explanation, which complicated the timing notes.
Members present: Maxime Dallois, Adama Traoré, Ayoub Berrabeh, Lucille Godefert, Antoine Delorme, Julien Bertaud
